Truck accident in Wadi Al Aq tunnel leads to temporary road diversion

Muscat: Traffic moving from North Al Sharqiyah Governorate towards Muscat was temporarily diverted to the old road following a truck accident inside the second tunnel in Wadi Al Aq along Sultan Turki bin Said Road.

According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the rerouting was implemented as a precautionary measure to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure the safety of road users while emergency response teams cleared the scene inside the tunnel.
