Al Buraimi: Nama Electricity Distribution Company is implementing a number of electricity development projects in Al Buraimi Governorate to the tune of about OMR3 million.
The projects, which are scheduled to be carried out during 2026, include investments in a 33kV network (valued at OMR 1.26 million), the construction of new 11kV/415V networks (OMR 960,000) and network reinforcement projects (OMR860,000).
The initiatives will help enhance grid stability, consolidate operational flexibility, improve efficiency, minimise losses and ensure compliance with grid safety standards across the governorate.
Eng. Said bin Mohammed Al Maamari, Projects Manager at Nama Electricity Distribution Company, said that the projects being implemented in the governorate keep pace with the growing demand for electricity that recently emerged from development projects in the wilayats. -ONA
