Oman weather: Wadis overflowing after heavy rain

Muscat: Wadis in Yanqul, some 208 kilometres from Muscat, are overflowing following heavy rain in the afternoon, a weather enthusiast said.
“It rained for at least 30 minutes at around 3:30pm. Wadis are overflowing,” Bader Ali Al Baddaei, an administrator of www.rthmc.net, a local web-based forum that discusses weather in Oman, said.
Oman meteorology had forecast isolated rain and occasionally thundershowers over Al-Hajar Mountains and adjoining Wilayats during the afternoon.
