Royal Navy of Oman evacuates 25 crew members of a merchant vessel

Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman, in cooperation and coordination with the Maritime Security Center, carried out an evacuation operation for 25 crew members of the merchant vessel (RITI).

The vessel was flying the flag of the Republic of Panama, after it was targeted, resulting in a fire on board. The evacuation took place 106 nautical miles off the coast of the Musandam Governorate, where the crew members were provided with the necessary medical care.
