BankDhofar receives strong response to its rights issue

Muscat: BankDhofar has received applications for a total of OMR42.76 million for its rights issue, against an issue size of OMR40 million. The allotment was completed on October 26, 2016, the bank said in a disclosure statement posted on MSM website.
BankDhofar added that the Capital Market Authority has approved the subscriptions for the rights issue.
Refunds are currently being processed and are expected to be completed by October 27, 2016.
The lead issue manager, Oman Arab Bank, is carrying out the necessary steps to complete the procedures related to the uploading of the investors' list at the Muscat Clearing and Depository Company and to list the new shares on the Muscat Securities Market.
