Sayyid Asa'ad receives US ambassador

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received on Tuesday Marc J. Sievers, ambassador of the United States to the Sultanate.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various areas, within the framework of the strong historic relations binding the Sultanate and the US.
The meeting also discussed all matters that contribute in supporting and enhancing the bilateral relations to serve interests of the Omani and US people.
The meeting was attended by Saif bin Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Adviser at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
