Two arrested for destroying rainfall monitoring device in Buraimi

Muscat: Buraimi governate's police department has arrested two people who sabotaged a rainfall monitoring device in wilayat Muhatha.
"The investigations directorate pointed us towards two individuals suspected to have meddled with a rainfall monitor in Sudiya, wilayat Muhatha. Both individuals confessed to the crime," said a statement by ROP.
The statement added that the police would not go easy on those who destroy public property. "Procedure will see these individuals taken to justice," the statement read.
