12 shops closed, 3kg meat destroyed by municipal agency in Oman

Muscat: Three kilograms of meat were destroyed and 12 shops closed in a random inspection by Al Buraimi Municipality.
The agency had carried out an evening inspection campaign in Hafeet.
The Directorate General of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources of the Governorate of Al Buraimi also cooperated with Al Haya Water to inspect drains in the area.
Last month, the municipality also visited a number of food stores which lead to the closure of six of them, due to the incorrect temperature being maintained in their refrigerators.
