Muscat: Global Money Exchange, one of the leading money exchange houses in Oman, managed by State Bank of India, opened its 39th branch at Misfa North recently.
Sujit Kumar Varma, chief general manager, IBG, SBI, Mumbai inaugurated the branch in the presence of T. V. S. Ramana Rao, chief general manager & Regional Head – MEWANA, Swaminathan Janakiraman, chief general manager, FIG, SBI, K. V. Ravichandra, general manager, SBI, K. S. Subromoniyan, managing director, Global Money Exchange, R. Madhusoodanan, general manager, Global Money Exchange and Subash Unni, branch manager among others.
With the opening of the new branch, which is second in Misfa area, Global Money Exchange will further be able to cater to the remittance requirements of local and expats in Misfa area in a better way.
The branch is housed in the same building where Bank Muscat is located in Misfa North.
The top executives of State Bank of India were on a 2-day visit to Oman. Global Money Exchange and State Bank of India have renewed the management agreement for a further period of 3 years from now. The association with SBI, one of the largest banks in the world, will give enhanced remittance facilities to the people through all the branches of Global Money Exchange spread across Oman.
