Muscat: There will be mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate, with temperatures varying from 18 in Saiq, to 30 in Sur, Ibra, Salalah and Haima, according to a weather forecast from Oman's official meteorology department.
A statement from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation read, "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches, over parts of governorates of North and South Al Sharqiyah and Buraimi.
"Temperatures will be 25 degrees in Buraimi, 28 degrees in Nizwa, Rustaq, Sohar and Muscat, 26 degrees in Khasab, and 29 degrees in Ibri and Masira."
Over the most of the Sultanate winds will be northwesterly to northerly, light to moderate during the day and slightly reducing in intensity at night. Over west Musandam governorate, it will be northerly light to moderate.
The sea state today is expected to be slight to moderate along the coastal areas of Musandam Sea and Oman Sea, with a maximum wave height of 2 metres, and 1.25 meter along the Arabian Sea.
