Muscat: Times of Oman were invited to experience a first-person-view of what it was like to board the first ever passenger flight at the new Muscat International Airport, which is currently undergoing airport readiness trials ahead of opening its doors to the public next April.
Oman Air flight WY2001 was the first commercial aircraft to take off from the new aiport last Saturday, with Dr Mohammed Bin Nasser Al Zaabi, CEO of Oman's Public Authority for Civil Aviation, inaugurating both the flight, and the passenger terminal at the new airport.
