Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MoH), Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) discussed cooperation on training of doctors, teaching and training of medicine faculty students, developing a unified system of disease data, and the e-link project between the medical libraries in the Sultanate.
Dr. Ali bin Talib Al Hina’i, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs chaired on Tuesday the second meeting of the joint committee between the Ministry of Health (MoH), Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) at the Ministry’s building.
The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Ali Al Bimani, SQU Vice Chancellor along with the committee members of the three institutions.
The meeting also highlighted the utilisation of the higher diploma-nursing graduates from the master programmes in the Nursing College at the SQU such as the midwifery master programme, the cooperation in the scientific research programmes, as well as the importance of the research cooperation between the three institutions.
