Muscat: Oman’s premium ICT exhibition Comex will be held form April 12-16, 2016 at Oman International Exhibition Centre, under the patronage and support of Information Technology Authority – ITA. This year it will be represented in two key pavilions i.e Business and Shoppers which will accommodate all public and private sector of ICT industry in Oman.
In the business section, after the confirmation of Telecom Regulatory Authority – TRA, Omantel and Ooredoo, the telecom sector participation is looking very promising. Apart from that, big players of ICT industry confirmed their participation including GBM, Huawei, Oman Computer Services and Microsoft.
The shoppers section is represented by company’s like Oman Phone, Zahrat Al Hana Trading Co. LLC, Cleopatra Trading & Contracting LLC and many more who will be displaying variety of products and electronic gadgets.
A new section of E-commerce zone is also introduced this year which will focus on the importance of E-Commerce platforms for small businesses, with exhibitors showcasing products and services related to Payment Gateways, Banking and Financial Services Platforms, e-Retail and CRM Systems etc.
A new feature this year is represented by Comex Smart Talks, it will be an ideal place where leading speakers from ICT industry to discuss important issues and latest technologies in the industry. This year the theme of smart talks would be “Smart gateway to growth & innovation” and it will be held on 13th and 14th of April at the exhibition.
