Oman accident: Four members of Indian family killed in road crash

Latest: Indian boy injured in accident still fighting for his life
Muscat: Four members of an Indian family were killed in a road accident on Saturday early morning and one boy injured in the same accident is fighting for his life in a hospital in Muscat, sources and relatives said.

“The family was returning from Rustaq after a sightseeing trip. Their vehicle had reportedly lost the control and crashed on the pillar of the bridge in Al Khuwair near Muscat Bakery,” relatives said.
“Father, mother, younger boy and an in-law have died in the accident,” the relatives who have not yet come out of the shock said.
The elder boy, who is a student of Indian School Wadi Kabir, is fighting for his life in the hospital.
“The accident happened at around 1:30am,” sources added.
The family hails from western Indian state of Maharashtra.
