Hamza Bin Abdul Mutalib mosque is an old mosque located in Jibroo, near Hai Al Mina in Muttrah. It was named after the companion and paternal uncle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Its exterior along with the detached stores are all covered in a textured muddy paint, in which was seen on old fortresses of Oman. The mosque sports a flower-looking dome, coloured in flashy blue and dotted with shiny elements that makes it unique. Though the exterior of the building might seem super old, but the exterior grills are very modern looking, painted in sharp grey colour with black and gold finishes.
