Food establishments shut down after discovery of food unfit for human consumption

Muscat: The Jalan Bani Bu Ali Municipality has carried out a series of inspections on restaurants and cafes.

The municipality revealed that this lead to a total of ten violations being issued, as well as the closure of three food establishments and the destruction of seven kilograms of vegetables and five kilograms of meat deemed unfit for human consumption.

"The Food and Veterinary Control Department, represented by the Jalan Bani Bu Ali Municipality, has carried out a series of inspections on restaurants and cafes, with ten health violations issued, three food establishments closed and seven kilograms of vegetables and five kilograms of meat destroyed that were unfit for human consumption."
