One arrested for impersonating Royal Oman Police officer

Muscat: An Omani man has been arrested for impersonating a police officer and robbing an expat in Al Ghubra, the Royal Oman Police announced on Tuesday.
According to police, the suspect "stopped an Asian man in Al Ghubra in Wilayat Bausher, said that he was a policeman and asked him to hand over his personal documents."
"The suspect then forced him to ride in his vehicle, and then stole his wallet," ROP added.
The suspect was referred to the judicial authorities for investigation in preparation for his presentation to the court.
