Sayyid Taimur inaugurates Omani Dates Festival

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said yesterday opened at the ministries district in Al Khuwair the 6th version of the Omani Dates Festival which will run till October 31, 2018.
Sayyid Taimur then toured the corners of 68 participants from different parts of the Sultanate who have displayed various Omani dates and products.
He also toured the corners of the participating organisations as well as the corners for the sponsors, children, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and marketing brand by the students of Al Zahraa College for Girls. The turnout for the festival during its opening has been great.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of ministers, advisors, members of State Council, members of Majlis Al Shura, undersecretaries, diplomats, sheikhs and dignitaries.
