MUSCAT: Javed scored a match-winning 57 to help Oasis Water to a close 3-wicket win over Al Rehwan in an E Division game at Muscat Municipality ground 3 in Amerat on Friday.
Invited to bat first, Al Rehwan was restricted to 143 for 9 in 20 overs. Raniz Mohammed topscored with 47 off 26 while Mohammed Shanid scored 46 off 21. Shyju Sulaiman and Ratheesh Parambil claimed three and two wickets respectively.
Oasis Water chased down the target rather comfortably, scoring 145 for 7 in the 18th over thanks to Javed’s brilliant batting. Anoop Parap remained not out at 20 off 10. Shanid and Jibin Kunnumpurat took two wickets each.

RAHRC win
Chinton Kamlesh’s 3 for 10 was pivotal to RAHRC handing NBO Al Muzn a 35-run defeat in another E Division clash at the same venue.
Batting first, RAHRC posted 168 for 8 on the board thanks to fluent knocks by Ajithkumar Krishna (41) and Mohammed Shafaf (26). Vinod Kumar and Ashish Kumar claimed three and two wickets respectively.
NBO Al Muzn was then bundled out for 133 in the final over as Chinton dealt some late blows to hasten its fall. Nandkumar Jadhav claimed 2 for 21. NBO’s Shameer Mohammed stayed unbeaten on 29.

In an F Division game, a superb century by Rana Shahid powered Majees CT to an exciting 34-run win over OCT Al Hail at Muscat Municipality ground 3.
Majees piled up 198 for 6 in 20 overs thanks to Shahid’s 65-ball 109. Nadeel Malot chipped in with useful 31.
Majees bowlers then bowled well to restrict OCT Al Hail to 164 for 8 with Justin George taking 3 for 30 while Arjun Rajesh and Nadeer Malot picked up two wickets each.
Al Hail’s Adil Al Balushi and Khalid Al Balushi contributed 57 not out and 51 runs respectively.

Sebastian Sajeev’s brilliant half century steered Wasco Orange to an emphatic 89-run victory against Bowsher Olympic Center (BOC) in a G Division match at Muscat Municipality ground 4.
Wasco amassed 192 for 7 in 20 overs thanks to Sebastian’s 39-ball 57 and Hiran Oliyath’s 51 off 39. Nooran and Vraj Asher took three and two wickets respectively.
BOC failed to match Wasco’s flurry with the bat and could score only 103 for 7 in its quota of 20 overs, losing four of its batsmen to runouts. Shinon Shijith topscored with 24.
