Cricket: FRiENDi mobile Winter Cricket Cup draw held

MUSCAT: FRiENDi mobile held the draw for the 27th edition of the Winter Cup organized by Jazz Boys Cricket Club during the weekend at the Food Stories Restaurant in Al Khuwair.
The guests of honour for the draw were Joseph Rajan, Brand Manager, FRiENDi mobile and Vaishali Jesrani, lady coordinator of Oman Cricket.
The Winter Cup will be conducted as a day tournament at the Al Bahri Hail turf ground on December 14 and 21.
The draw was witnessed by the managers and captains of the respective teams followed by a briefing from the sponsors.
Teams confirmed for the Winter Cup are AKCT, Nielsen, Modern Asia, FC Goa Cricketers, New Star Ghubra, Michael XI, Smile Strikers, KFC, Royal Challengers, Asaffa XI, Profab XI, Strikers Oman, Muscat Steel, National Gas, Karachi Kings, Asfandyar XI.
The main sponsors of the tournament is FRiENDi mobile, Danube, National Metal Cans Co, and co-sponsored by Al Hajiry Group and The Body Shop.
