Two arrested for car drifting, reckless driving

Muscat: Police have arrested two drivers in Al Batinah Governorate for drifting and endangering people's lives.

The first driver was arrested in Mussanah, while the second was arrested in Sohar.

ROP said in a statement online, "South Al Batinah Police Department Commander arrested a driver of a vehicle after he had drifted his vehicle in a street in wilayat of Al Mussanah."

"Police Command in Al North Al Batinah Governorate arrested a driver of a vehicle in Al-Multaqa area of Sohar after he drifted his car in a way that poses a danger to road users,” police added.

Legal proceedings are underway.
