Authority rules out tsunami in Oman

Muscat: The Sultanate will not be affected by the tsunami, following an earthquake in the Indian Ocean, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) informed on Monday.
In a statement issued online, Oman’s Meteorology authority said: “No potential tsunami due to an earthquake in Carlsberg Ridge at 18:19 MCT with magnitude 6.4 and depth 10km.”
