Authorities in Oman destroy more than 200kg of rotten food

Muscat: Municipal authorities destroyed 230 kg of food stuff stored in unhealthy conditions in a house for distribution to coffee shops, Muscat Municipality said.

Muscat Municipality said in a statement online: "Municipal authority raided a house in Wilayat Seeb and destroyed 230 kg of rotten food and fined expats for preparing and storing foodstuffs (animal fat) in a house to transfer it to a local coffee shop in the Wilayat."
