Wadis overflow due to rainfall over weekend

Several wadis across wilayats in the Sultanate have overflowed due to rainfall over the weekend.
In the Al Rustaq Wilayat in the Al Batinah south governorate, Wadi Al Sahtan and Wadi Bani Ghafer, have overflowed.
“Article 49 of Oman’s Traffic Law stipulates that any person who intentionally crosses the valleys in such a way as to endanger his life or the life of passengers with him or others, shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months and a fine not exceeding OMR 500.” - Royal Oman Police
