OMR25 million Millennium Salalah Resort inaugurated

Salalah: Built at a cost of OMR25 million, the Millennium Salalah Resort in the Governorate of Dhofar was officially opened yesterday.
The inauguration ceremony, hosted by Al Madina Real Estate Company, was held under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service in the presence of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, Eng. Khamis bin Mubarak Al Kiyumi, Board Chairman of Al Madina Real Estate Company and a number of officials, investors and interested persons in the tourism sector.
Abdurrahman bin Awad BaOmer, CEO of Al Madina Real Estate Company, said that the Salalah Millennium Resort was built on an area of 24,456 square metres as it includes a 4-star hotel with 180 hotel rooms, 70 suites, 19 villas and 10 chalets.
He added that the resort includes halls for events and meetings, swimming pools, a health club and a chain of restaurants and other facilities. He added that the project also includes 116 freehold residential units.
