100,000 tonnes of poultry meat produced in Oman

The Sultanate has achieved 51 per cent self-sufficiency in the production of poultry meat.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
"The local production of poultry meat in the Sultanate reached about 111,000 tons with a self-sufficiency of 51 per cent, while the production of table eggs amounted to 22 thousand tons with self-sufficiency of 62 per cent." – Director, Animal Extension and Production Department at MoAF
