After searching for over 30 hours, the body of missing Indian entrepreneur and Coffee Day Group Chairman V G Siddhartha was found floating in the Nethravathi river.
The body was shifted to Wenlock Hospital in Chikkamagaluru where a post-mortem was conducted.
The 58-year-old Siddhartha founded India’s largest coffee chain, Cafe Coffee Day, and was married to the daughter of Indian politician S M Krishna.
He was last seen near a bridge that runs over the Nethravathi river, and it is suspected that he committed suicide by jumping off the bridge.
