Haabta is a traditional Omani open-air souq that begins a few days before Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha.

It is usually held in a selected number of wilayals in the Sultanate.

It starts from sunrise and only lasts until midday.

At the souq you can buy traditional Omani clothing, toys and cooking utensils for Eid.

Also sold are homegrown cattle and goats from Omani farms.

The livestock are sold auction-style.

For this special occasion, Omanis wear traditional garb.
