Majid Al Futaim Group exempts rent for its commercial stores tenants in Oman

Muscat: Majid Al Futaim Group in the Sultanate has exempted the tenants of the commercial stores in the Group’s malls from rent in the Sultanate.

A statement issued online by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( OCCI ) said, “Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry extends its thanks to Majid Al Futtaim Group in the Sultanate of Oman for its response to the Chamber’s request and its introduction of the initiative to exempt rent for the tenants of the commercial stores in the Group’s malls in the Sultanate since the decision to close commerce shops in shopping centers until the end of application of the decision."

The initiative of Majid Al Futtaim Group in the Sultanate comes due to the context of the Chamber’s announcement of the private sector’s contributions to social responsibility.
