Oman quashes rumours of murder of Omani citizen in Pakistan

Muscat: The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has denied what was circulated in social media about the deliberate killing of an Omani citizen in Pakistan.

The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan said: “The Consulate General in Karachi followed up rumours on social media about the deliberate killing of an Omani citizen. What is being circulated is incorrect and death was normal.”

“The Consulate General confirmed the safety of the Omani citizens in the Republic of Pakistan," the statement added.
