MEDC issues notice for its subscribers

Muscat: Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) has issued a notice for its subscribers.

A statement issued online by Muscat Electricity Distribution Company said, "Dear customers, we would like to inform you that we are in the process of updating software for prepaid electricity meters (SABIQ) at customers premises. Contractors will be visiting the premises which have prepaid meters to conduct this activity starting from 6th September 2020. We urge you to cooperate with the contractor to complete the required software update."
