Mumbai: Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2020 opener on September 19 in the UAE, the BCCI announced as it finally announced the IPL 2020 schedule on Sunday.
These two teams played the final of the 2019 IPL last year.
The IPL 2020 tournament opener between MI and CSK will be played in Abu Dhabi. The 13th edition of IPL will be played at three different venues in the UAE - Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Dubai will host 24 round-robin matches,- followed by Abu Dhabi (20) and Sharjah (12). The final will take place on November 10.
