Muscat: Vaccination against COVID-19 was started on Thursday in the Sultan's Armed Forces as part of the national campaign for vaccination.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Defense said, ”The medical services of the armed forces began this morning to activate the vaccination plan against the virus, at Al Khoudh Armed Forces Hospital. Where the priorities of the target groups were set, including workers in the health sector in the medical services, who deal directly with patients suspected of being infected with the virus, based on the approved distribution plan and in coordination with the Ministry of Health.”
“The start of the vaccination campaign was attended by Brigadier Salim bin Saif Al Hosani, Acting Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, and a number of senior officers and officers and a number of the Royal Army of Oman employees,” the statement added
