Preventive measures for labour settlements issued by Muscat Municipality

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has issued a list of preventive measures at labour settlements to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said: "The Preventive measures at work sites to limit the spread of coronavirus are:

 1- Providing hand cleaners and disinfectants.

 2- Providing detergents and disinfectants for toilet facilities and allocating a worker to clean them on a continuous basis.

 3- Sterilisation of site corridors, including seating seats and all other facilities.

 4- Adherence to quarantine procedures as directed by the competent authorities in the event of suspected symptoms

 5- Ventilation and constantly exposing rooms and personal items to sunlight.
