Around 30% of targeted group given both doses of Covid-19 vaccine in Oman

Muscat: About 30 per cent of the targeted group for vaccination against Covid-19 have received two doses.

The National Immunisation Campaign in Oman aims to vaccinate 3.7 million people.

The Ministry of Health announced that the percentage of people vaccinated against Covid-19 in the Sultanate has increased to 18 per cent of the total target number, within the national campaign for immunisation, which amounted to 3,700,000 people, including 71 per cent who received one dose and 29 per cent who received two doses.

The ministry confirmed the effectiveness of the vaccine against all virus mutants.
