Environment Authority plants over 2000 saplings in Al Dhahirah

Muscat: More than 2,000 saplings of Sidr have been planted by the Environment Authority in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

"The Environment Department in Al Dhahirah Governorate, in cooperation with the Najed Al Ahliya Company, implemented an extensive planting campaign targeting the company’s workers’ camps in Wadi Al Haitham and Al Safa area in the Wilayat of Ibri, as part of the national initiative to plant 10 million trees, "the authority said in a statement.

During the campaign, 2500 saplings of the Sidr tree were planted.
