Salalah: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from the participants in the 20th General Conference of the Arab Towns Organisation and the 64th Executive Council, held in the Wilayat of Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, during the period from 7–8 September 2026.
The cable was sent on the occasion of the conclusion of the conference titled "More Innovative and Sustainable Cities".
In the cable, the participants expressed their highest expressions of thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to the Sultanate of Oman for hosting this conference and for the generous hospitality and warm welcome, praising Oman’s role in promoting, developing, and humanizing cities to enhance the quality of life.
The participants concluded their cable by praying to Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan as an inspiring leader, and to grant the Sultanate of Oman continued progress and prosperity.
