Qatari team to visit Oman after Asian Cup final match

Muscat: Qatar's national football team is set to visit Oman after their title match against Japan for the Asian Cup.
According to an official, the team will be travelling back to Qatar via Sohar after the match.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Sports Affairs said to Times of Oman, "They will visit Sohar, that's true, but this is not for a formal celebration. This is simply part of their return to Qatar, but if Qatar wins the cup, there will of course be informal celebrations in Sohar during this trip."
Qatar and Japan will go head-to-head at 6:00 PM local time in the finals of the AFC Asian Cup.
