Two Asian nationals arrested in Al Suwaiq for drug possession

Muscat:  The Directorate General of Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command in Al Suwaiq wilayat, arrested two individuals of Asian nationality with crystal meth, marijuana, hashish, and tablets of psychotropic substances intended for trafficking and consumption. Legal procedures against them are being finalised.

Fire contained in Al-Mudhaibi house, no injuries reported

Firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate successfully extinguished a house fire in the Wilayat of Al-Mudhaibi, with no injuries reported.

The response teams acted promptly after receiving the report, managing to bring the blaze under control and prevent its spread to nearby properties. Authorities confirmed that the incident did not result in any human casualties.

The Civil Defense and Ambulance teams continue to emphasize rapid response and adherence to safety measures to minimize the impact of such incidents and ensure the protection of lives and property.
